Because every puzzle is generated from its date, the server can rebuild the answer key and check your solution before listing you, so nobody can post a win they did not finish. Yes. Every puzzle since the site launched is in the archive, and playing an old one works exactly like playing today’s. Archive puzzles do not count toward your daily streak, since streaks track consecutive calendar days.

They are generated in-house. Each puzzle is a mathematical function of its date, drawn from vocabulary, clue and question banks written for this site, then checked by machine for solvability before it is ever published. Nothing is scraped from another puzzle publisher.

No. Puzzetto is independent and unaffiliated with any other puzzle publisher. Several of our games belong to genres those publishers helped popularise, but every word list, clue, category and question here was written for Puzzetto.

If you have five minutes, Word Guess and Trivia Five are the fastest ways in. If you want something to sink into, the Mini Crossword and Nonogram reward a slower pace. Sudoku gets harder as the week goes on, so Monday is the friendliest day to start.

Every game is built to be played one-handed on a phone, with touch controls throughout. The site needs a connection to load, but once a puzzle is open the game itself runs entirely in your browser.
